Seaquist Dock & Ephraim, September 2026

An evening on the peninsula: bumblebees working the goldenrod at Seaquist Dock, then a family fishing and a fiery sunset at Anderson Dock in Ephraim.

A Saturday evening in late September. I started at Seaquist Dock, where the goldenrod was full of bumblebees working the last blooms of the season. From there I drove to Anderson Dock in Ephraim, just in time to watch a family fishing off the pier as the sky turned pink, then a dramatic red and orange sunset over the bluff.
